The KÉK Team

The KÉK Team

The team at KÉK is comprised of dedicated urbanists, architects, researchers, historians, and numerous cultural professionals who believe that shaping the city is a shared responsibility. Through their creative, experimental, and open-minded approach, they build a bridge between the profession and the community, the past and the future.

Kata Csala

Having graduated as a sociologist, she is currently studying in the advanced specialised course in Urbanism at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. She joined the KÉK team as a volunteer in 2021 and has since participated in several projects: she worked on the TÁJTÉKA - a project for intelligent land use tools in the Balaton Highlands, and was also the project leader for the ArchiKids programme for children. She is currently one of the project leaders of Budapest100 and is also involved in international projects such as Affordable Housing for All (AHA) and InclusiveCity (ICT). She is particularly interested in how different social groups can be involved in collective thinking about spatial use, housing, and urban development, as well as what tools can support their long-term participation in decision-making about the built environment.
