Volunteer Positions Available at the Contemporary Architecture Centre in 2025
Trust Your Architect! - Event Organisation, Content Curation
Professional background and skills: good communication skills, proactive nature, works well in a team, and understands the complex task of organising an event. Possesses a basic knowledge of current architectural and urban issues in Budapest and the country, and is aware of global trends.
Fields from which we welcome applicants: architect, historian, humanities, landscape architect.
Duration of the task: continuous, but a minimum of 2 months.
Job role: The enthusiastic young team organising the monthly Trust Your Architect! discussion evenings have been doing so for years. You can join their work as an intern and participate in the professional preparation of the events, topic selection, contacting speakers, and on-site management of the events.

Pecha Kucha Night Budapest - Event Organiser
Professional background and skills: Studies related to urbanism, architecture, graphics, and design are advantageous for the task but not mandatory.
Duration: Continuous, but a minimum of 3 months.
Job role: inviting speakers, on-site assistance, event management, writing texts, event organisation.

KÉK Urban Walks - Organiser, Researcher
Professional background, fields from which we welcome applicants: architect, art historian.
Duration: Continuous, but a minimum of 2 months.
Job role: For over a decade and a half, KÉK Urban Walks has organised exciting thematic walks and architectural tours, and for the past five years, they have provided a special architectural course for high school students. However, the tasks are diverse, and organisational and research work requires an interdisciplinary approach. For interns with an architectural background, research, mapping (Google Maps, QGIS), and graphic tasks, as well as organisational and curatorial duties, are expected.
