The KÉK lecture series titled “Bubbles from Japan” presents the defining personalities of contemporary Japanese architecture and the distinctive form of their work.

Within the series, it is typically the outstanding figures of the young Japanese architectural generation who showcase selected pieces of their work and share insights into their creative perspective. Thanks to the programme supported by the Japan Foundation, creators such as Takaharu Tezuka, Norihito Nakatani, Sou Fujimoto, Takeshi Hosaka, and Endo Shuhei visited Hungary for the first time.
