Pecha Kucha Night is an open forum and an architect-designer presentation night where young designers, creators, and artists can meet and introduce themselves to each other and the interested audience. The concept began its world-conquering journey in Tokyo and today Pecha Kucha Nights are held in more than 800 cities, from Rovaniemi in Finland to Kansas City in the USA.
Within the framework of Pecha Kucha Night Budapest, KÉK has been providing an opportunity since 2006 for domestic and international architects, designers, and artists to showcase their latest work. The programme has seen over 40 editions so far, organising 4-6 presentations per season and continuously welcomes applications from speakers and projects. This can be a realized building or plan, a piece of furniture or an installation, a community project, or a technical innovation, an event or creative ideas that make our environment a little better and more liveable. The rule remains unchanged: each presenter can show 20 images, each for 20 seconds. Lively dynamics and great atmosphere guaranteed!
