Infrastructure
We are living in the era of major infrastructural developments. Thinking about cities and urban development also means considering infrastructures. Today, the vast majority of urban development programmes also involve infrastructural investment; each major programme fundamentally determines the future of a city or district.
What is the role of the architect in infrastructural projects? What does architecture represent in light of major infrastructural developments? What does all this mean from the perspective of Hungarian cities, and how does it work in foreign projects? What architectural quality, design is created during these development programmes? What cultural impact does each investment have? The symposium sought answers to these questions by engaging internationally recognised experts.
